Dear colleagues and friends,
I hope it does not take offense (I do not think there is a need because I know that you are all, or nearly so, very strong in heart) but I think to do something very useful to inform everyone that, as is known, the security package approved recently, have been greatly strengthened the penalties for crimes committed while intoxicated.
The new penalties, provide, inter alia, in case of culpable homicide committed while intoxicated or under the influence of any narcotic drug, worth three to ten years imprisonment, to be clear how the robbery or the bankruptcy fraudulent.
What is less known is that even for simple driving of motor vehicles:
- while drunk if you exceed the limit of 1.5 g / l of alcohol in the blood
- in an altered drug-
- In case of refusal to submit to alcohol concentration
relief in case of conviction (even conditionally suspended), the judge must also confiscation of the vehicle, if owned by the driver.
basis, and given that:
- the limit of 1.5 g / l is very low but it is not "insurmountable" or reserved for chronic alcoholics (especially but not only, in the case of drinks based on spirits);
- the controls are much more widespread (and, in the event of an accident, although not serious, are made automatically)
I would advise extreme caution at all and using public transport or taxi, if and when out to dinner or a drink, because the evening would otherwise cost you very dear.
In case of lack of alternatives, when in doubt, I would drive someone else (preferably the more sober of the present and, in any case, the owner of the vehicle).
